Acid Reflux is also called Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is the place where food or liquid comes to esophagus from stomach. And this causes pain and heartburn.

Nausea, vomiting, sore throat, burping, cough, wheezing, difficulty swallowing, sore throat, hoarse voice and in severe cases, vomiting blood, difficulty breathing and choking are other symptoms apart from heartburn.

The opening and closing of the esophagus is done by lower esophageal sphincter muscles. It maintains a pressure barrier against the stomach when working correctly.

Sometimes these muscles either aren’t working properly due to congenital defects or certain traumas such as hiatal hernia. Although body posture, health and certain foods can trigger reflux on their own, having a preexisting LED muscle condition can be exacerbated by what one eats or drinks.

Although it is not proved by recent researchers it is better to avoid the following foods caffeine, chocolate, onions, tomatoes and citrus.

But the real food that you have to avoid is foods that are high in fat content and foods that are greasy. Still, if you are willing to eat these foods make sure you limit yourself to one meal a day.

It is always advised to drink a full glass of water while taking a tablet. The following positions and habits will trigger acid reflux. They are avoid lying in an incline position after eating, elevating the head while sleeping, avoiding alcohol and tobacco.

A diet high in complex carbohydrates is recommended as foods such as bread, rice and pasta are easier on the stomach and tend to absorb stomach acid more easily.

Eating smaller meals is also very important because when we overeat, the stomach thinks that much more stomach acid is needed to digest the food. When this food or drink comes back up the esophagus, it is coated in stomach acid.

Treatment for GERD can include over the counter heartburn medications and prescription medications but one should be careful as many of these drugs have serious side effects and do not interact well with one another.

In some serious cases surgeries are also done. But it will not give you any guarantee that it will not come back.

Maintaining a healthy weight is one key way to help avoid acid reflux. People suffering from obesity have an increased abdominal pressure which can trigger reflux.

Recent studies, however, indicate that even gaining small amounts of weight can bring about acid reflux. In fact, those who “yo-yo” with their weight are at an even greater risk than those who are consistently a few pounds overweight.

To avoid acid reflux or to just maintain a healthy weight one can try my weight loss breeze program. It very easy and simple to do with guaranteed results.

We get almost everything at east, then what are we lacking? I get this question when I think about that we live in a place that offers abundant food, transport entertainment, and easy access to the electronic age.

Had this affected the connection between people? We don’t lack anything, we get cars, buses, fast food, movie theaters and golf courses are everywhere. No, here I’m not speaking with a short conversation we have say with a server when go to a hotel. Actually I’m speaking about relationships between people say how we handle the salesman who sells us the car.

Does our community and close relationship we share with the family has been affected? If so then what effect does it has with our health.

Luckily, there are many number of popular researchers who also think of the same questions. And they do also have the fire to find the answer.

This community had similar eating habits as of their neighbors, this study has been conducted for nearly 30 years in 1950’s. In a town called Roseto, Pennsylvania a study has been conducted among an Italian-American community and this is called “The Roseto Effect”.

In short, the study found that these people had longer life spans and were overall much healthier than their neighboring counterparts. This was true in spite of the aforementioned risk factors including smoking and lack of regular exercise.

But the younger generation of this group saw their health declining. In the initial stage they maintained close relation within family and community and they also maintained good health. But once they came out of the family and community their health started to deteriorate.

Close personal connections, especially feelings of love and perhaps care taking directly and positively affect our health even when habits traditionally considered bad for us are still present. This is further supported by something I philosophized on in a previous article relating to how pets lead to these same feelings of love and in return positively affect our health.

We do not have to be part of a large family to inject ourselves into a community. We may just have to be a little more creative and open in order to acquire the sense of community. Watching a movie can be great entertainment, but it is a very solitary activity which requires no interaction with anyone else.

You can even ask the server where he worked before when you go to hotel etc. Other than simply inquiring about the special food you can interact with him in a friendly way. Alternatively we can also discuss about a book recently read or a movie recently watched all these will create a connection.

Being self entertained can still be good and force some internal reflection in understanding who we are as people. But denying these very important family or community ties will ultimately shorten our lives unless we tend to them the way we might tend to our cars insuring they are clean and running properly.

It also recommended to all of us to treat our relationships inside the family with utmost care and love. Regular exercise and food with less fat is always advised.

I am pleased to share my all natural alternative health programs as well. All programs involve easy to implement exercises and can be done with someone you love who might be struggling with certain health issues.

Sparks has a wife, two kids are studying in college and co-owner of a multimillion dollar business. It is reported in CNN that Kenny Sparks was a “handsome man with a big smile.”. He is loved by everyone. But things started to change when he was 49.

His wife Cheryl said “He was stumbling over words,”. “And he would forget what he was saying – but at almost 50, I think we all tend to do that.”

Everybody saw the change in his personality. At first his family had a thought that he would be affected by Alzheimer’s disease. But he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

“He just wasn’t Kenny,” said his wife.

It is said by his son Graham that “He’d tell stupid jokes all the time,”. But “On [a family trip], he wasn’t telling jokes. He was sitting there with a blank stare on his face.”

Alexandra, his daughter noticed the change as follows “He exercised all the time. He would swim constantly and he ate well. And all of a sudden he was downing gallons of ice cream. Gallons!”

At last Cheryl drove him to the doctor. From the cognitive tests it is confirmed that “he couldn’t draw a clock and put the numbers or hands on it,” she said.

His personality will be changed by FTD doctors said this to Cheryl. It will steel his ability to communicate and finally will end taking his life. Frontal and temporal lobes of brain gets damaged by neurodegenerative disorders. Reasoning, communication, social awareness, and memory are controlled by this part of brain. Once the FTD starts to develop it leaves the patient in confused state.

It is explained by Dr. Murray Grossman of the University of Pennsylvania as follows “Many patients will lose their inhibitions. They’ll act totally inappropriately, leaving their families to wonder what is wrong. Some patients will have no problem spending the family fortune, taking all their money and putting it into scams, get-rich-quick schemes, or going off and buying an expensive car or boat the family doesn’t need. The patients lose their reasoning. What’s particularly frustrating for family members is, the patients don’t seem to have much insight into the difficulties they are having or causing for others.”

Frontotemporal dementia affects approximately 250,000 Americans. Experts aren’t sure what causes this form of dementia, and it’s often misdiagnosed as Alzheimer’s disease.

Four years back Kenny Sparks was diagnosed with FTD. He cannot drive a car anymore. To take care of him his wife has quit her job.

“His need to be with me is constant, because he feels safe,” she said. “He can’t read a clock, so he’ll get up at 3 a.m. and that’s when we start our day . . . Now he’s more like a child, most times.”

What’s the hardest part of dealing with the dementia?

“There is no one hardest part,” Cheryl said. “Well, for me, knowing that the man I thought I was going to grow old with – I’m not, I guess. Yes, that’s the hardest part.”

Christian Goodman a natural researcher has formed a easy and simple set of exercises that increases the blood flow to brain and in turn prevents dementia. IF dementia attacks you can be sure that one will lose his personality to it. On a good note dementia can also be prevented.
