When using Christian agency dating and online dating services, it brings with it a learning process. I hope that some of these tips might help you in your dating experiences.

You are a Christian? And are you considering using the services of a Christian agency dating? Then the questions that are listed below might help you in sorting out some of the things that you might have in your mind. Let us assume that you are a very holy and God fearing person and a good Christian single. You are for the first time using the services of a Christian dating service so that you can start with a nice relationship in your life. The following questions will aid you very much in sorting out the least attractive Christian dating services.

Is taking help from a dating agency in accordance with your ethics?

Let us take as an example that some of the so-called Christian dating services do not have a problem with unions between people of same gender. There is another Christian dating service that runs a dating site that contains adult content. If such matters are a problem for you then you should monitor the dating agency of your choice very closely. Get as much information about it as you possibly can so that you do not get into any trouble before joining such agency. However, there is not all bad news because we do not advocate for such disputed agencies.

Is the searching database of such Christian dating agencies large enough?

In other words, you want to know is if the Christian dating service that you are a part of has a wide enough range of people from which to select. Can it cover all the little issues such as living area, age, language, hobbies, interests, etc.?

Does the Christian dating service provide you with good enough facilities or not?

To make planning easier, a normal Christian dating service will have a good enough system of connecting through emails and online discussion boards to keep all your interests in mind.

Is there a free membership or a trial period that your Christian dating service offers?

Many top listed Christian dating sites offer a trial period to their users, but there are some who do not. A free visit to a Christian dating service will help you a lot in making the correct choices in the future, particularly when you are paying them for joining their service.

Can you find a perfect match for yourself or does the Christian dating agency do it for you?

Eharmony, for example, will try to find a match for you with the help of their match making system. On the other hand, there are other dating agencies, such as Christian Café, that allow you to search for your own perfect match, someone of your own desire. You have total choice in picking your soul mate. It is very important that you acknowledge the difference between the two.

s year is Communist China’s 60th anniversary since its founding, it is also the 30th anniversary since China’s economic reform, so all of the world’s attention is focused on China. A massive and festive celebration was held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on Oct. 1, which showed off the country’s prosperity and the people’s strength and also expressed their joyful hope for a bright future.

No doubt that since the economic reform, China has made significant progress in the fields of economics, society, citizen’s lives, environmental protection, and various others, and its influence reaches to all nations. Yet, how should a Christian view the last 30 years since the reform? To answer this question, China Ministries International and Vancouver Short-Term Mission Center co-hosted a seminar and Chinese Christians from various fields were invited to give their analysis and opinions. Dr Victor Yang: Reviewing Economic Reform 30 Years Truth-Monthly Canada West Chief- Editor Dr. Victor Yang brought up and reflected with the audiences the major events that took place in the last three decades since the reform, which include breaking the “da-guo-fan” or indiscriminate egalitarianism, establishing the responsibility system, a policy that allowed individuals to keep whatever profits they earned from work, designating areas as “experimentation zones”, establishing system of market economy, and the founding of modern corporate policies, and etc. While looking at actual figures, Yang said that according to the social-economic development reports released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS) China’s annual Gross Domestic Product (GNP) is increasing at an average of 8.1%, the total economic output has increased by 77 places, which is currently ranked as third in the world. If looking only at the Gross National Product (GDP), then China has really “Surpassed the English, and Kicked out the Americans”, he said, and is now looking from the third place at the second place, which is Japan, so catching up to America seems entirely expected. This is something that is very exciting for all of the Chinese around the world; however, everyone knows that China’s population exceeds United States by four times, exceeds Japan by ten or more times, so we can only see the true difference by calculating according to the Gross National Product (GDP) at purchasing power parity per capita. Yang pointed out that some reports revealed that 0.04% of China’s population possess 70% of the society’s wealth, and among these “who became wealthier first” the majority of them are relatives of high communist officials. He believes that China in essence has completely returned to the “old social-order” – private good, capitalism, wicked officialdom culture, official corruptions, wealth disparity, and etc have all reappeared.

What Is Christian Counseling:-

Christian counseling is counseling performed by a professional counselor who upholds Christian values, beliefs and philosophy. Christian counseling is faith-based counseling which draws upon the science of Psychology filtered through the biblical foundations of Christian teaching. The unifying factor is the therapist, him or herself, who has integrated a combination of Christianity, psychology, and psychotherapy into an applied program. Clients may see Christian counseling as a relationship with a caring counselor directed toward increased awareness of themselves, others, the societies and cultures in which they live, and their understanding of the Christian God. It is often focused on solving the individual problems of the patient.

Nationally recognized Christian counselors services include, Day Spring Center, the Minirth Clinic and Meier Clinics also located in various location of USA like Christian counseling Dallas, Richardson,Plano. Clients may see Christian counseling as a relationship with a caring counselor directed toward increased awareness of themselves, others, the societies and cultures in which they live, and their understanding of the Christian God.

Christian Counseling – The Differences

As a general rule, both Christian counseling and secular counseling share the same desire to help people overcome their problems, find meaning and joy in life, and become healthy and well-adjusted individuals, both mentally and emotionally. Most counselors have graduate degrees and have spent years learning their craft. Christian counseling is distinct from secular counseling. Christian counseling rises to another dimension. “In contrast to psychologically-integrated systems, Biblical counseling seeks to carefully discover those areas in which a Christian may be disobedient to the principles and commands of Scripture and to help him learn how to lovingly submit to God’s will,” reports the International Association of Biblical Counselors.

When we need Christian Counseling

If you are in need of some basic Biblical advice concerning something as simple as your finances or possibly one of the broken, or a Christian couple desiring to get married, a couple already married, or if you are struggling with singleness or striving to have better relationships in your family, contact one of these Christian counseling centers. Seek out one that has been recommended to you and most importantly, Biblically based. You are an important member of the Christian body. It is important to get the help and healing needed. Someday you may in turn be able to help someone else through your testimony of recovery.

The Christian book category is one of the fastest-growing genres in the industry of book publishing. With more and more divinely inspired writers putting out their written works for people to read and be inspired by, it is no surprise that this genre has captured the attention of many booklovers, regardless of religious background or denomination.

Releases like William P. Young’s ‘The Shack’, Rick Warren’s ‘The Purpose Driven Life’ and John Eldredge’s ‘Walking with God’ have proven that there are literary treasures – hidden or otherwise – in the genre of Christian books and readers all over the world catching on to this worthwhile find.

Helping this genre make more waves in the Christian community is the existence of online bookstores and websites promoting Christian books. CP Books (at http://cpbooks.christianpost.com/) is one such site.

As the online bookstore of The Christian Post network, CP Books supports the genre by featuring the latest and the best releases from the Christian books category. The site bolsters the proliferation of Christian-themed literary works by showcasing traditionally published, independently published and self published books.

Tim Wright asked:

Trying to find the right Christian business opportunity on the internet has its challenges. There are many business opportunities out there that promise you unlimited income potential, but in the end they only take your money. Many Christians are now looking for new Christian business opportunities to start in order to help fuel their ministries and families to do the work of the Lord more abundantly. Serving the Lord is what a Christian does and what could be better than a way to do just that in your own business; your own home-based Christian business.

A Christian home business is similar to any online home business in functionality; however, you are able to serve God in ways difficult to do in the workplace. A Christian focused home-based business is a rewarding experience that impacts the internet market in a substantial way. With this type of home business you are able to earn money from the comfort and ease of your own home, but are also able to serve the Lord while doing it.

Once you have reached the decision to start a home based Christian business, you will need to take a look at your skills and knowledge base to determine what kind of business you will have. Many home businesses work directly with the computer and internet services and this is certainly an option for the Christian home based business as well. There are several Christian home based business opportunities in multilevel marketing (MLM) business models. With this form of Christian home based business, you get great leverage by earning from individuals you bring into this business as you help them to succeed.

With proper discernment and prayer you will find the right home-based Christian business that pleases you and the Lord. Christians at times struggle with the idea of success and business. There is a tendency to misinterpret the scripture that states that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Money, in and of itself, is merely a tool that God can and does use to bless His people. Loving money more than you love God or other people, not money itself, is where the danger lies.

The main thing that you must look at as you grow your Christian home business is keeping focused on giving glory to the Lord. Your Christian Home Business belongs to God. Success in business, just as success in any part of your life, should be rooted in a foundation that glorifies God for that success. Take note of your heart as you continue to build your business and determine your goals. Your Christian business will grow based upon your stewardship of your resources and talents.

The way business is done today has been completely changed by the recent surge in technology. The incredible growth and reach of the internet makes success in a home-based business more accessible than ever. The internet is an immense opportunity that you can use to grow and expand your Christian business far and beyond your local community, even to the far ends of the world. There are fellow Christians–living at some faraway lands– who will be happy and willing to do business with you. Similar to other online home based businesses, however, this kind of home based business also requires patience as well following a systematic process.

To make your business successful over the internet, you still have to put some time and effort into your business. Work it like a business, not just a hobby. It doesn’t matter if you just want to work part time to earn one hundred a month or if your plan is to own a full time business and earn thousands. If you have sought God’s approval and He tells you to go ahead with a particular Christian home based business, then the next thing is to get started.

So, how can you run the Christian home based business in a godly way? If you want your Christian home based business to be successful, then open the door of the business and ask the Lord to come into it. Tell Him you want Him to work with you as a partner (or as the CEO) and listen for His guidance daily. He wants to bless you and wants your Christian home based business to prosper. So, don’t forget to first of all consult Him as you make your daily business decisions. Whatever Christian home based business God has led you to run, don’t forget to do it for God’s glory. Work with integrity in everything you do. Remember that God is your business partner and you wouldn’t want to disgrace His name.

A Christian home-based business is an ideal career option for you to make quick money, from the comfort of your home, while honoring the Lord and serving other people. You can often get your business started for less than the cost of a decent vacuum cleaner. Running a successful business is the only way to create financial freedom. The home based business industry is creating more millionaires today than any other profession out there.

So what do you look for? A Christian home based business should strive to sell products or services of the highest value for the money charged. A Christian home based business should also deal only with product or service vendors of the highest integrity. And finally, a Christian home based business should provide superior customer support. Follow these simple rules and your Christian home based business is sure to provide you with great financial wealth as well as personal wealth.

Wilma Melendez asked:

Do believe that there is really no right and wrong, that whether it is right or not is decided by the individual? Or alternatively do you believe that there is definite bad karma and you pay for it in each reincarnation? Or do you believe neither- what alternative is there, if any? Do you believe that God wants every one to be saved or only some people? Do you think a religion should teach doing good to others, charity, and love? Do you believe that God is everywhere? Your answers to these questions tell whether you support the New Era movement or not.

New Era supporters believe in reincarnation, because as one pop song put it, “it takes more than one lifetime to learn”. Yet the New Era movement does not try to stimulate moral values in people for them to earn their salvation. In the New Era belief, you yourself decide what it right, their values are relative, no matter what the Bible says.

In contrast, in Christianity, we accept that ten million lifetimes would not be enough to learn. The more that the world progresses in technology, the worse that the weapons become. The more medicines are invented, the more billions that have no access to them because of poverty. We sin and we make mistakes.

We have only one life to live, Christians do not believe in reincarnation. Christians admit that we are all imperfect and need salvation. Yet we can all become saved from eternal suffering and have eternal life happiness with God. It is as easy as believing in Jesus as our only savior and God. New Era doctrine implies that God is mean because people of every religion can not be saved. But Christianity says God has called all to be saved, even though no one is perfect, simply by believing in Jesus.

Christian beliefs are based upon the Bible and to Christians; the Bible is the only true Holy Book. The Bible tells us what is right and what is wrong. Ironically, it is New Era that does not persuade people to be good because according to the New Era, we are already good and there is no wrong.

In New Era doctrine, wrong is in the eye of the beholder, whereas in Christianity, God ask us to do good. “Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God” (3 John 11). Many charitable organizations and Institutions of higher learning were founded by Christians, for example, the Red Cross, the Salvation Army; Harvard, Yale, and Interamerican Universities, to name just a few of the countless many around the world.

Jesus said “love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that **** you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you.” (Mathew 5:44) and he really lived that. Jesus did not fight back when the ancient Pagan Roman army came to arrest him and crucify him, (even though he could have done a miracle to set himself free), because he wanted to give himself in ransom for our sins. Jesus came to this world to fulfill a mission, God, the Father, asked him to do; and Jesus willingly did. His mission was to give himself to save us from our sins.

When they came to arrest him, one who was with Jesus took out a sword and cut the ear off of one of those who came to arrest him. But Jesus said, “Put back your sword, for all they who take up the sword shall perish by the sword”. Jesus said he could have called thousands of angels to his aid if he so chose to, but he did not defend himself (Mathew 26:51-54). No one can live up to Jesus. This was done as an example to all of us.

Jesus, of whose one of his titles was the Son of man, said, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Marc 10:45). The Bible says, “even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace this grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God has set to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God” (Romans 3:22-25). This means that we all need forgiveness and can receive it by believing in Jesus, who shed his blood for us on the cross.

We ourselves can not clean up guilt by saying that all we do is relatively good. If you are kidnapped by an enemy, and the enemy wants money for your release, someone must pay that ransom for you to live. The enemy is the devil who has tied us up with sin, but the savior is Jesus. A kidnapper wants a lot of money, even more than we can have. But Jesus, having never sinned, was the sacrifice that saved us because he was painfully crucified though he had no sin. His great worth paid for the salvation of all who are willing to believe in him and enjoy eternal happiness in heaven.

Jesus was the only one who said to love your enemies. Contrary to popular belief, polytheist religions do persecute Christians. Most New Era followers are polytheists, or believe in polytheism like a mix of the ancient Greek gods and various kinds of witchcraft, with Hinduism as its basis.

In the European countries and in the United States, polytheists do not usually persecute Christians because these are predominantly Christian countries and modern Christians teach that no one should persecuted for their religious beliefs. Polytheists have been positively influenced by Christians in the west. But polytheist nations in predominantly non-Christian countries are very different than the west. Polytheists in predominantly non-Christian countries persecute Christians. It is the Christian nations that are against religious persecution in the world.

Another difference between New Era and Christianity is the idea of Karma. New Era alternates between the idea that we can do no wrong and the idea that we have bad karma. Karma is the idea that you pay for what you do wrong. Karma as a belief is not “new” at all, it comes originally from India. In India, Hindus and Buddhists believe that karma is accumulated every reincarnation and you pay for the karma in the next reincarnation.

In India, karma is used as an excuse to justify the wrong acceptance of racism. They believe that people who were born with black skin are born that way because they were very evil in a past life. In India, the blacks are called the untouchables. They and anybody who is crippled or poor are denied equality and opportunities to improve their life because as K.P. Yohannan explains in his Christian book, Revolution in World Missions, according to karmic belief, Hindus believe that helping them would only worsen their condition, prolonging the time they have to suffer to pay for their bad karma.

Sadly, Hinduism keeps India poor, K.P. Yohannan adds, because the Hindus believe that rats are sacred. They will not exterminate rats even though rats eat one third of the crops and bring diseases. The cows and rats eat the crops but starving people are not allowed to eat of it.

In Christian belief, all races are made by God from one common ancestor, Adam and Eve. We are all made in God’s image and deserve to be treated equally and loved as God loves us (Genesis 2:27).

The Bible tells us to help the poor. “If there be any among you that are poor of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord has given you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother (Deuteronomy 15: 7) and “And thy shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather every grape of thy vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger” (Leviticus 23:22). To glean means to pick up every last crop. Some of the crop must be left behind for the poor of the country and the poor foreigners to gather.

Jesus also taught that a man who could not see was not born without sight to pay for his sin nor for the sin of his parents (John 9:1-3). The persons with a handicap are equal to everyone and should not be looked down upon.

From Western eyes, it is desirable to have good karma.  However, Reverend Moisés Roman explained that in Hinduism belief, you reincarnate into a cow, not as a punishment, but because you have been very good in a past life and have reached a very high level of development. In fact, in Asia, it is an ideal to stop reincarnating and become free of the supposed endless cycle of birth and re-birth, whereas to a New Age westerner, it is a welcome idea to keep reincarnating.

We must examine the societal implications of our beliefs. According to economists, India, which has a free market and is a democracy, should have an excellent economy. Yet it is one of the poorest parts of the world because there is little support for equality and charity.

Christians have set up charitable organizations in India, but it is not yet enough. For instance, in India, Christian missionaries are beaten up and rejected by their families (from various articles from Send! missionary magazine, http://www.gfa.org ).

Another difference between New Era and Christianity is the implications of the belief that God is everywhere. Many people in the New Age movement misunderstand the Christian belief that God is everywhere, and instead represent it to mean that God is everything. One highly educated, western person I know prays by looking in the mirror and talking to “the God inside him”. Pantheism and Christianity are very different. We are not God and animals are not God either. God is perfect, we are not.

Christians become filled with the Holy Spirit of God by believing in Jesus and asking Jesus only to come into their heart. According to born again Christians, if you have not asked Jesus to be your savior and God, then you have not invited Jesus into your temple, which is your body, so God is not inside you.

“The most high does not dwell in temples made with hands…” (Acts 8:48). When you believe in Jesus, you have the joy of Jesus dwelling in your heart, (your heart is created by God), not in statues or pictures made by human hands.

When born again Christians pray, they close their eyes and pray to God, the creator of the entire universe. They pray to God in Jesus’ name, not to themselves. Jesus, God’s son, said, “And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:13-14).

During a time of crisis, we need to become strengthened by turning to a resource outside of our limitations. If we believe that we are God, if we believe that we make up our own values, and that we make up our own miracles; we will have mental inconsistency. We will be going around in circles, looking inside again and again for what can only be found outside of our imperfection.

I knew of one lady that would do a Tarot reading for herself over and over again on the same question, never accepting that she did not feel satisfied with the answer she got. Some Tarot readers that charge for their reading even record the session, and give the recording away, so the customer will not be asking the same questions over and over again.

We were meant for something better, we were meant to pray to God in Jesus’ name, the creator and sustainer of the Universe; the only source of power, perfection, and infinite wisdom; and to receive help from him.

Hey everybody. Right now I’m a (female) sophomore in high school in Omaha, NE. I’m trying to figure out where I want to go to college. I’m planning on working in the music industry when I graduate. I know of a Christian college called Evangel in Springfield, MO that offers a “Bachelor of Science in Music Industry”. I want a program like that, but I also think it would be good if there was a record label near my college so I could possibly work as a college representative. Do any of you know where there are any Christian colleges with a good music industry program, AND a record label nearby so I could possibly work there while I’m in college?
